We work with secure email, secure instant messenging, and encrypted filesystems in Windows/XP, Slackware Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and NetBSD environments. We may be able to offer support and services for other environments but we don't have them installed here.

Because of fundamental issues with Vista, we do not plan to offer any services or products in that environment.  We recommend that security-conscious clients consider moving to Slackware Linux or FreeBSD as full-function SOHO desktop systems which offer good combinations of security, performance, and usability along with good application availability.

For people who need or choose to run Windows and still want a secure platform, we offer hardening services to limit unnecessary exposure. This involves installing a good application-level firewall, shutting down risky or unnecessary services, and modify tuning parameters to stabilize operation while protecting from internal and external vulnerabilities.  These systems typically benefit from increased performance due to the reduced load.

We can install and customize a UNIX-like FreeBSD operating system for you. We can install and customize Slackware Linux which also makes an outstanding secure and high-performance desktop/laptop operating system. Lastly, we specialize in multi-boot setups for people who need to or choose to run multiple operating systems on one computer.
